The standard Medicare Part B premium will increase to $202.90 per month in 2026, up 9.7% from $185 per month in 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has announced.
Because those monthly premiums are typically deducted directly from Social Security benefit payments, those rates affect just how much of a cost-of-living increase beneficiaries will see in 2026. The Social Security Administration has announced a 2.8% cost-of-living adjustment for 2026.
